Grabbed takeout from Burgatory, aka the big burger spot everyone seems to hype up, and it was kind of a letdown. The pickup time came and went, and when I got there the bag was just sitting there like it had been forgotten.

By the time I got home, the burger was barely warm and the fries were already soggy. They also left out one of the sauces, which isn’t the end of the world, but come on, Sauce Patrol, that’s basic stuff.
The flavor was fine enough, so I’m not saying it was terrible. But for what they charge, I expected a lot better. I’d probably eat there in person again, maybe, but takeout from there is a pass for me...

The service was okay, but I felt kind of ignored. The staff seemed really rushed, so it was hard to get their attention or feel like they were actually focused on helping me.

I tried a couple of cocktails and overall they were good. They tasted fresh, though one of them was a little sweeter than I’d usually go for. Still, I’d probably come back and try a few more...

I ordered two milkshakes and tried to be patient about it, but it felt like I had to force myself to stay chill. By the time they showed up, they were already almost melted and way too sweet. The flavor was fine, I guess, but definitely not worth the price. I expected better from Burgatory. Maybe the food is where they shine, but the shakes just didn’t do it for me.

The beer list was alright — not a ton of options, but there were a few solid choices. I found something I liked and had a good drink, though I was hoping for a little more variety.

I used to feel like you got a decent meal here for the price, but this time was kind of disappointing. The food tasted fine, but the portions felt way smaller than before. My burger looked tiny and the fries seemed like a half order. I left still a little hungry, which is frustrating when you’re paying that much.

Trying to talk was kind of a hassle because we had to keep raising our voices, which gets old fast. The decor is fun, I’ll give them that, but after a while it felt more chaotic than relaxing. Just not really the vibe I thought I was walking into.

From what I remember, the burgers were good and the place had a nice, relaxed vibe. Nothing felt disappointing, but I do remember thinking the prices were a bit high for the amount of food you get.
The sides and drinks seemed to add up quickly, so it didn’t feel like the best value overall. I’d probably go back if I was in the mood, but not super often unless the prices were a little lower.

i went here with a few friends and ended up trying the veggie burger. it was decent, and i do appreciate that they had a vegetarian option at all. the fries were good and the service was totally fine, but it kind of felt like the veggie choices were more of an afterthought. not a bad spot, i just wish there had been a little more to choose from.

There are so many burger options on the menu it’s basically impossible not to find something you want. The sides and shakes are really good too, and I love that you can build your own burger if nothing jumps out at you. I’m 100% convinced anyone could walk in here and find something they’d be happy with in like two minutes.

I really liked how easy it was to build my own burger and choose the bun, patty, toppings, sauce, all of it. It came out pretty much exactly how I wanted, which was great. The only downside was that when I had a quick question, I felt kind of dismissed, like they just wanted to move me along. Still enjoyed the burger though...

Just a heads up if you’re picky about cleanliness like I am, this place passed the test. The tables, bar, and restroom were all really clean, and I felt totally comfortable hanging out there. No sticky floors, no weird smells, none of that gross stuff you sometimes run into.

I went to Burgatory and the staff was so nice. Everyone we talked to were friendly and didn’t make us feel rushed at all, even with the place being busy. Our server checked in the right amount and was really easy to chat with. Little things like that really does make a difference. I’d definitely go back just because the people there was so welcoming

I went on a busy night and expected to be waiting forever, but the line moved faster than I thought. We got seated quickly, and the food came out without much of a delay either. I’d definitely mention this place to a friend if they were looking for somewhere that can handle a crowd without making you wait all night.

I tried reserving a table through the website, but it kept glitching and I wasn’t sure if it actually went through. I didn’t get a clear confirmation, so I ended up having to call anyway. It was annoying.
